Dallas on this Thursday night came out swinging and unlike their last home game (against the Ducks), they jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back. Jason Arnott( 2 goal night) got the scoring started in period one when he netted a goal after a feed by Sergei Zubov.

Brendan Morrow and Jere Lehtinen would also cross that line for a 4-1 victory. The win gave the Stars a 12-1-2 record in their last 15. I was VERY impressed with the play of Alex Ovechkin.

20 year old phenom of the NHL, second in print behind Sydney Crosby, this kid does it all! He wants the puck whenever he's on the ice, he isn't afraid of contact, will shoot from anywhere, and his goal in the second period was like a ballerina in full stride! Once the Caps build a team around A.O. look out!
