Arriving downtown by the courthouse I note a few streets cordoned off for a parade route to welcome the Fair. Roughly 25 minutes before the parade would begin I noticed the crowds beginning to swell near Commerce and Elm. While walking to the courthouse to take care of an errand I was welcomed by a street long fleet of parade floats and military might.
Tonight I expect the Ravens to handle their business with the Browns (+11.5)…a paltry 9-7 week in the picking department (26-21-1 YTD) and to stay above .500 is okay for now. Me thinks some funny trends will soon reveal themselves as we get deeper into October.
I believe I have an idea for a costume. I believe this will be a guaranteed winner. Men and women can go this route. Imagine for a moment you and your best friend dress up as referees. Let’s also add a whistle that doesn’t exactly work.
