Many people, including an ex, informed me of how dark the skies became. The thought of trying to imagine between 2-4 inches of ash being caked onto cars, houses, open roads, businesses, lakes, streams, and wildlife is a little much to ponder. On Friday I was preparing for an interesting dinner shift when I saw a familiar face. It always amazes me how the aura of a person can differ and mellow when the camera or the microphone is non-present. This scenario is pretty accurate as this person walked by.
