    One Sided Battle Of I-35!

    Dirk in four meetings with the Spurs has averaged 18.5 points being guarded by Boris Diaw for the most part. Once you get past the initial game plan of relying heavily on Dirk and Monta if that isn't clicking then you look for a spark off the bench with the tandem of Vince Carter and Devin Harris.

    EGGSactly What The Doctor Ordered!

    Friday night Yu was equally dominant as set down the first 15 batters he faced before Matt Dominguez would get a clean hit off Darvish. Dominugez was the only Astro to collect hits as they were completely stymied by a nine strikeout performance by Yu Darvish. Jason Frasor got the win Friday 1-0 while the loss went to Kevin Chapman who pitched two and two thirds innings for the loss.

    It Was The Wind!

    As 17,070 fans trekked their way to the Red For 90 arena you could not have asked for a better played first half. FCDallas outshot Seattle by an 11-2 count aided by the wind. Scores by David Texeira in the 11th minute and a penalty kick by Michel in the 42nd minute gave FCDallas a 2-1 lead at intermission.

    Presidential Precedence!

    Yes not since 2007-2008 had the Dallas Stars made a push for Lord Stanley's Cup. Man, they came close in the Western Conference Finals. Indeed George W. Bush was the POTUS at that time. It also occurred to me that as a pitcher's duel went extra innings Friday night I recalled that in 1994 George W. Bush was also a part of the Rangers ballclub.
