Happy Monday to you! Hope you survived the weekend.

Todays entry will put a smile on the faces of Mom and Dad. I may have found a plce to appease all of my dietary and nutritional needs. Friend Sara turned me onto this the other day after a church service. There are a chain of stores throughout Texas and possibly out of state.

When you're constantly on the go and don't have time to make meals at home or just want to treat yourself right, may I recommend Whole Foods? After a lengthy walk I was introduced to a salad bar with more choices than a wedding invitation from an in-law. Everything fresh and made daily. From Tofu to Ginger rice to Broccoli greens to salads and soups. This mix was simple, tasty, and affordable. I may have to make this a daily habit and put Starbucks on the B-side. It was then that I realized there's a Whole Foods one mile from my pad.

Summer fast approacheth which means hotter temperatures. The running joke here in the South is that after May 1st we hit 90 and sit on that until sometime in late October. You get used to it after a while, that's the funny part, but it gets hot! This will be a hot week in North Texas! Hopefully the Rangers can match the heat.

Dallas Stars have a new GM in Joe Nieuwendyk. This call kind of shocked me. I wonder if this hire means Dave Tippett is on his way out. If so, that won't seem right in light of all the injuries this team had suffered in 2008.

The Penguins have never played a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup. They'll get that chance tomorrow night when host the Red Wings in Pennsylvania. Should Sid the Kid and company force a Game 7, I think they can pull off the upset on Friday night! These two teams match up very well. No I an not a Red Wings hater. I'm a sympathizer for Bill Guerin and Phillippe Boucher! Nothing more, and nothing less.

Toronto in town for the first of four tonight. Scott Feldman will try to keep Texas on it's winning ways. I will be there! Camera in tow for tomorrow night.

Time for a walk!

Over and out in Big D
