Happy Hump Day Everyone! Only in Texas can spring arrive and all of a sudden we get winter weather!

I kid you not, we are actually under a freeze warning for tomorrow before the skies slowly return to normal once again. This after an unusually warm and dry fall/winter. This is also my first official post on the new look front page.

I should tell you that incrementally each page will be updated and each page will feature a different look. The baseball logo was my idea and quite frankly I couldn't be happier with the work of Lydell Vik. More on the way...

Should we be surprised that Paul Tagliabue retires mere weeks before Terrell Owen's releases a tell-all book about his last year in Philly? If you think July pre seasons were docile before in the land of silver and blue, wait until this upcoming season. I am also very happy to see Mike Vanderjagt come South. A great kicker with lots of mileage left.

Last night I had a special thrill, a first if you will. Aside from watching the Stars getting a clutch victory, I also got to enjoy being photographed next to the Stanley Cup. 35 pounds worth of history, honor, and prestige! I learned later that the NBA trophy was also at the AAC for an upcoming playoff preview April 21st for both the Stars and Mavericks. You'll also see pics of two Gemini's, Mike Modano and Dirk Nowitzki each holding the other's trophy. The line went on forever.

Jeff Russell also signed autographs between periods. I will be at his golf tourney on April 14th. Did you know that Mr Russell is one of a very select few to have gone to an All-Star game as a starter AND reliever? It's true...you can also add Ron Guidry to that list.

Special thanks to Jennifer Grey for an invite for the soon to be opening Cheescake Factory at Southlake Town and Circle. Featured item was a huge cheeseburger and Peach Cobbler dessert, gratis as part of a run-through. Waiter Mike was very attentive and polite and yes he was tipped phat(smile). This will be a hotspot come April 8th. Got all my upgrades and vouchers covered for the Rangers season. Should the Rangers get off to a great start, my slogan will simply be: TEXAS RANGERS-THE RIGHT MIX IN 2006! Off to buy firewood.Brrrrrrrrrrr!

Over and out in Big D

Mr Will
